I like books.

I like books. Irrationally. If it has words and pages, I hoard it. I have two full sized book shelves double stacked with books. Kids books, young adult, fiction, non-fiction, classics, fantasy, detective, romance, etc, etc... All sorted into alphabetical order, and then published date if they're by the same author.
That doesn't seem like much, but when you're nineteen and have moved house eight times in the past three years, that's a shitload of books to be carting around. (Don't even get me started on the videos, dvds, boardgames, computer games, etc.)
My plan is to read every single one of them, plus all the future books I'll also be getting - there are a lot. So I thought "Hey, why not document each one, with a review, rating and pictures, and all the exciting bits : )" Seeing as I'm always on Tumblr anyway, I'll do it here.

I'm so close to finishing City of Glass and then finally being able to read City of Fallen Angels for the first time, but I'm so tired D:
I can barely keep my eyes open. And I'm already desperate to read Game of Thrones, but I can't until I finish the other two first. Oh books, why you make my life so difficult?

  • The one semi-decent photo I have of one of my bookshelves. I’ll post better ones once I set the other one up properly again (makes sense if you’ve heard my stupid rat story >:[)

*Realised that that sentence was completely untrue. It's just books. Not magazines, newspapers, brochures, or anything else that is inferior. Just books.
